The Hermes Lindy broke away from the brand’s more structured styles. This bag is for the modern on-the-go woman – relaxed, adaptable and chic.
Instead of rigid lines, the Lindy has a soft body that moves with you. Handles on opposite sides allow the bag to sit parallel to your arm when carried by hand. A removable strap adds the option to wear it crossbody or on the shoulder.
Originally, the Hermès Lindy handbag was released in 4 sizes: 26 cm, 30 cm, 34 cm and the largest 45 cm, also known as the “Voyage” size. The Lindy 45 was for travel but is no longer in production. In 2019, Hermès introduced the 20 cm Mini Lindy with a crossbody strap and it was an instant hit.
The Hermes Mini Lindy is for casual days and light travel. The Lindy 26 is an everyday bag, the Lindy 30 has more room without being bulky. For maximum capacity, the Lindy 34 is good for work or travel.
The Lindy is most often made in Clemence, Swift and Evercolor leathers. Rare exotic versions include crocodile or ostrich. Himalayan Lindy is the most exclusive of all.
Not a quota bag but certain versions, especially the Mini Lindy and Lindy 26 in coveted colors, can be tricky to get.
